 PROTECT YOUR LOAN AND VEHICLE

Protect Your Loan

How to protect your loan and vehicle

Guaranteed Auto Protection (GAP)

In the event of theft or total loss of your vehicle, most insurance companies only pay the cash value of the vehicle at the time of the loss. Your remaining loan balance could be much greater than the cash value of your vehicle, creating a deficiency (possibly in the thousands of dollars) for which you will be liable.

The GAP Advantage from Advantis gives you peace of mind by helping to cover the difference between your insurance coverage and the balance remaining on your loan. GAP Advantage also gives you an additional $1,000 toward replacing your vehicle, giving you a head start toward financing a new or used vehicle with Advantis.

Auto Deductible Reimbursement (ADR)
ADR is included with GAP and pays up to five hundred dollars ($500) of your deductible per loss (with unlimited losses per year) on a covered auto you own and insure.

Mechanical Breakdown Protection (MBP)
Your vehicle is a major investment, which is why it’s wise to purchase mechanical breakdown protection (MBP) from Advantis.MBP can help protect your investment by reducing the possibility of out-of-pocket expenses when your vehicle suffers an unexpected mechanical failure. Most importantly, MBP provides peace of mind so you can experience worry-free driving.

Features and benefits

  • Nationwide protection
  • 24-hour roadside assistance for the term of your coverage
  • Rental vehicle assistance
  • Transferable coverage if you sell your vehicle before your agreement expires

The cost of repairs
One in three vehicles experience a mechanical failure in any given year, and extended warranty owners will make several claims during the life of their contract. If your vehicle fails after the manufacturer's warranty expires and you don’t have an extended warranty, you’ll have no protection from unexpected repair costs that can total in the thousands of dollars.

Vehicles today contain high-tech sensors, electronics and computers that suffer unexpected failure and need to be replaced. While engines and transmissions are more reliable than ever, these high-tech components frequently fail. As vehicles become increasingly more complex, associated repair costs rise dramatically.
