Ruby started in the financial industry as a teller at the age most teens are learning to drive. But that doesn't mean she's one-dimensional. From cooking to hiking and the therapeutic value of houseplants, Ruby brings curiosity, drive, and passion to everything she does.
That’s especially true of her work in mortgage lending. That particular passion was sparked when she bought her first home at age of 23. “Navigating the intricacies of securing a mortgage gave me perspective,” she says. “I saw the true value of a mortgage loan officer who understands the nuances, communicates well, and guides you through the financial aspects. I knew I’d found my calling when I realized the profound impact I can have in someone’s life.”
In her free time you might spot Ruby exploring Powell Butte, wandering the International Rose Test Garden in Washington Park, or fully embracing Portland’s food scene.
